Free Community College to Massachusetts Residents

The state provides free community college tuition and fees through the MassEducate program to residents aged 18 and up.

Massachusetts Inclusive Postsecondary Education (MAIPSE)

A program under the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education that promotes inclusive college experiences for individuals aged 18 and older with severe intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities. Supports include program coordinators, education coaches, peer mentors, and braided supports with agencies such as DDS and MassAbility.

Merrimack College – Accessibility Services

Provides academic, housing, and parking accommodations in compliance with ADA and Section 504 regulations.

Merrimack College – DREAM Chapter

A student-led chapter offering mentorship, peer support, and disability-awareness initiatives on the Merrimack College campus.

Northern Essex Community College (NECC) has campuses in Lawrence and Haverhill.

NECC has a MAIPSE program for high school students with intellectual disabilities or autism to take college classes.
